Bcoz Congress has Rahul

Now the great frenzy about great India election Tamasha is over,Congress is all set to make a government with bang and Dr Manmohan Singh as the prime minister.and Sonia Gandhi and Varun Gandhi at the helm of affairs.Jai Ho has worked.
If you study the report Cards of previous PM’s probably in last so many years it was for the first time electorate in general was happy with Dr Manmohan Singh’s performance as a PM.They rewarded with a mandate to rule the country to Congress.I would say it was the imaginary of Congress leadership that during the last general elections although a fractured mandate they tried to be resolute and did some serious purposeful business in terms of NREGA ,loan waivers of farmers, nuclear deal and other economic reforms .This all with unfaltering pursuit with other coalition partners trying to pull down. They proved to the electorate that they were the best to run the country . Electorate rewarded Congress wholeheartedly in terms of giving a mandate to rule.Other parties had a long list of manifestos but only to show on papers. As a convention after elections were over they hardly bothered.New election, New manifesto and the same recapitulation again and again.People were sick with this attitude of the parties but had no alternative.
Now it has been proven beyond fact that during last election Sonia not eager for the post of PM and putting the confidence in Dr Manmohan Singh looked a very absolute and genuine not a power hungry types. This had an incessant impression and a great relying factor to the electorates. They could deliver the message that Congress and specially Sonia wanted strong and developed India. This converted the electorates in favour of Congress and its allies.Again this time they are playing smart by putting Rahul at the backseat for the post of PM,although no can challenge this decision in Congress. In fact many sycophants will try to make a killing out of this.No doubt as a star campaigner he had put a lot of efforts in assembling the fractured congress in weak states. If they could carry the same for another five years no can stop Congress with the single largest party with 300 plus seats in next elections.
This time electorates made the parties realise of their voting power. They knew their worth and reality. They only chose them who can deliver and rejected all feigned names and ingenuine candidates. The good things that has happened is that voter has now become aware of his voting power. Thanks to initiatives like ‘Jago Re’ and TOI’s leader ship campaigns.Silver lining is there that caste based and divisive politics of ‘Jod-Tod’ is not going to last very long.It is the delivery of results and credence which will decide who is going to rule.A good new precedent started is that of performance rewarded and non-performance punished in Indian politics. It looks ridiculous that the caste and creed based candidates are still being fielded by the parties keeping the caste dynamics in mind. The parties have understood this and hopefully they should come out of it.Only party can come to power if they are sincere in their efforts and deeds. They view on politics is business like and they are expert in strategising and have all the resources to handle the affairs in most prudent way.
Probably that is the reason parties like RJD,BSP ,SP.LJP has been reduced to ashes. Now why electorate should choose them when they don’t have any clear cut plans.Just by having few MP’s you negotiate the power at centre. It is a very dangerous trend,Although we are worlds largest democracy but still are evolving. If we can have some authentic performance markers it would be very clear for the electorates to choose.Time is gone when publicly elected people can take the electorates for a ride.
On the performance parameters some of CM’s like Sheila Dikshit,Biju Patnaik,Nitish Kumar who had worked and delivered had made a difference in their constituencies. Like In Delhi Sheila Dikshit manged to get 7 out of 7seats a really wow performance,In Orissa 14 out of 21 seats although he just broke his alliance with BJP just prior to elections, Nitish could manage 20 out of 25 sets it contested of course under the banner of NDA.These all had been cases of good governance with a visibility of their performance resulting in people showing their trust and Vote.
The great era of Lalu,Paswan,Jayalalita,Chandrababu Naidu,Karat etc comes to end atleast for next five years. Same way the Socialism of Mulayam and Lalu and Social Engineering of Mayavati has lost its sheen .The electorates have clearly rejected. They will have to do some serious introspection and come out with a strategy which is genuinely pro masses else will be history in Indian Politics. It is a really sorry state of affairs for BJP who couldn’t gauge the mood of the public.Instances like Varun Gandhi giving hatred speech and trial news of Narendra Modi for Godhara just before the elections and some section of people trying to project him as PM.This all resulted in a state of utter confusion for electorates for BJP.Again there internal infighiting has resulted in dismal performance. It will be a tough time for BJP and some self examination has to be done whether being a communal and right wing Hindutva is really going to work in their favour.Without a concrete agenda I don’t think it is going to work.
